PREPARE FOR PICKUP

A little preparation can make pickup day much easier. Use this checklist after you have discussed the vehicle, agreed on the offer, and confirmed what documents the team needs.

01

Confirm the plan before pickup day

Confirm the pickup location, contact number, arrival arrangements, agreed amount, and vehicle condition. Explain whether the car starts, rolls, and steers, and whether you have the keys. Tell us about flat tires, a missing wheel, or other conditions that affect loading. Same-day availability depends on the schedule, location, and access; confirm a time with the team rather than assuming an online request is a booked appointment.

02

Remove personal belongings

Check the glove box, center console, door pockets, seat-back pockets, trunk, and storage areas under seats. Take out registration papers and personal documents you want to keep. Remove toll tags, parking passes, garage remotes, charging cables, and child seats. If an item is difficult to reach safely, discuss it before pickup instead of crawling underneath or entering an unstable vehicle.

03

Have the agreed paperwork ready

Tell us in advance what ownership documents you have and whether a lender, estate, co-owner, or insurance company is involved. Do not assume that a missing title can always be accepted. Requirements depend on the actual ownership and vehicle circumstances, and the team needs to review those details before confirming a purchase. Use official Texas DMV guidance for current ownership and transfer requirements, and ask us which documents to have ready for your specific pickup.

04

Make access straightforward

If possible, clear ordinary obstacles from the route to the vehicle. Arrange gate access, parking permission, and access to the keys. Tell us about apartment rules, a storage facility, low garage clearance, or a vehicle located off the pavement. Do not move a car that is unsafe or try to free a stuck vehicle yourself. Explain the situation so the pickup team can decide how to approach it. Our service-area guide helps you check the pickup location.

05

Review the sale before loading

When the team arrives, review the vehicle and agreed sale details together. Ask questions about any difference between the description and the vehicle’s condition before proceeding. We complete the agreed paperwork and pay before the vehicle is loaded. Keep the sale records you receive. If you need to update insurance, registration, or ownership records afterward, follow the relevant provider and official agency instructions.

06

Choose the next step for your vehicle

A non-running car, a damaged truck, and a water-exposed vehicle can require different pickup planning. Read about junk car removal, truck, SUV, and van buying, or flood-damaged vehicles before requesting an offer. For questions about access or documents, contact Richard’s team. If you are ready to start, send your vehicle details for a free estimate.
